Just to let you know, Twyford & District Fishing Club have an open day on Saturday 17th August 2013, this will allow free fishing from sunrise to late in the night for any non-members wanting to check out our waters. The whole day will be based around our main car park in Loddon Drive, Twyford Berkshire which gives easy access to the Rivers Loddon, Thames and St. Patricks Stream, yes, that is three rivers from one car park. There will be club and committee members and bailiffs on hand to walk over the waters with anyone looking for advise. Keith Speer and Dave Currall will be on hand doing stick float clinics "barbel on the float".
We will also be selling burgers and refreshments with any proceeds going to a local charity.
Please feel free to come along and join in, if you wish to bring friends who don't currently fish, as it is part of National Fishing month they will not need to buy a rod licence.
