Dont worry Crooky I will be there asking him why he tried to steal a club water to start a Syndicate. Anyway Crooky he failed, the Club has owned the Fishing bank rights for over 30 years. The clubs Solicitor sorted him out. Would be nice to see you there Ian dont let him put you off going.

Regards Ray

Makes my skin crawl Ray, attending something where he is considered the "celebrity presenter" would make me really angry and I don't want to be in that situation by choice mate.

Is Creeping Jesus organising this?

FYI - The ford crossing is closed at Whistley if you plan to travel to the event that way.

I can't attend unfortunately. I'm on taxi duties for my kids. :

Tom Just to clear things up mate. Crooky and i are not talking about Steve Pope starting a Syndicate. We are on about the last speaker on the night.

Creeping Jesus, for the record, is Paul Rogers' nickname, due to his preferred summer footwear, it is also his username on the RDAA forum.

As Ray said, DC pissed off a lot of people a few years back: After having slagged off all the regular anglers and bemoaning the fact that other people were fishing there in a regular magazine article he did, he then tried to syndicate the stretch just as it was expected to break the national record.
