I spent about 28hrs in a single swim last Friday. For all but about four of those hours the same reed warbler sang with barely a pause. I must admit that after a while it began to wear a bit thin! However, on the second morning I began to tune back in a bit and take more notice of the sounds it was producing. I noticed that alot of what was coming out of it's beak was actually snippets of other bird songs and calls.
I'm not the best at identifying these sounds but those I recognised were:
Long Tailed Tit
Has anyone noticed this? If so what species did you make out?
